Meya 12 scene 5Four slams his fist down on Twelve’s hand, causing her to let go, shouting out in pain. She begins to fall down the drop off, not making a sound as she speeds towards the city below. The frame starts flashing again as Twelve rushes further and further down. The HUD begins to glitch along with the flashing, becoming more and more intense as Twelve nears the body of water below. Twelve slowly closes her eyes, as if she’s accepted her apparent fate. The flashing and glitches become even more intense and none stop as Twelve is about to make contact with the pitch black water below. Twelve hits the water hard, shooting through it like a bullet, sinking deep. Sound becomes muffled as she enters the darkness below the surface. The flashing and glitches begin to slow down, coming to a stop as she slowly sinks deeper, her body lifeless. Surrounding Twelve, four subtle shadowy figures can be seen hovering above her. The frame starts to get darker and darker until it becomes completel
Meya 12 Scene 4As the frame starts to flash more rapidly, dwellers can be seen with each flash. They are slowly walking around the area in search of Kate. The player must take cover and hide from the searching dwellers. The only way the player will be able to see the dwellers and know where to hide is when the frame flashes. Kate continuously strains her face, trying her best to restrain the episode. The dweller’s voices continue to warp as they speak.
Don’t hurt her… Just leave her alone… She doesn’t need you…You need her...You’re killing her.
If the player is spotted, they will be quickly overwhelmed and killed, Kate being in no condition to fight back. While searching for Kennedy, giving the player a general sense in where to go, each time the frame flashes to the grotesque version of CYE Industries, there will be a general path the player must follow in order to get where they need to go. The pathway continuously changes with each flash,
Meya 12 scene 3The player must approach the door and once close enough, Kate will take over. Kate stands there for a second nervously. She looks down at the ground, closing her eyes and takes a deep breath through her nose and slowly exhales through her mouth. She looks back up and opens her eyes and lightly knocks on the door a few times. She takes a small step back, anticipating the door opening. After an agonizing moment of suspense, a quiet beep can be heard on the other side of the door. The door then slides open, revealing Kennedy standing there holding a mug with both hands. She looks older than before, but not due to looking like she’s aged, but more mature.
(not knowing what to say, extremely nervous) …Hi…
Kennedy stands there like a statue not saying anything, her mouth agape at the sight of Kate. After a second, Kennedy drops her mug to the ground, it shattering into hundred pieces upon impact, the brown beverage that was in it spilling all over the ground. She sli
Meya 12 scene 2As the player moves towards this spot, the male soldier will begin to speak to Twelve. The soldier is a tall black male and dons the same armor as Twelve. His helmet’s face plate is retracted like Twelve’s, showing his face. The number “11” is branded on his armor. It is evident that he is the same generation as Twelve. (Meya/Mathis units 1-7 are gen one and Meya/ Mathis units 8-14 are gen two).
The player will lose control as the soldier begins to talk to Twelve. The soldier possesses the same voice as the male voice that could be heard in the opening scene.
Long time no see, I was beginning to think you’d slept through your wake up call.
(rubbing her forehead from grogginess) Heh, I don’t think that’s possible.
Still that bad, huh?
(slightly nodding) Yeah, it wasn’t a good one… Everything just rushes back in so fast… Hard to process it all.
I know what you mean, but it gets better, believ
Meya 12 Opening sceneThe game fades open on a female’s face lying down on what looks like a medical bed. The woman’s face has been augmented and looks cybernetic. She is young looking, mid to late twenties. Her eyes have blue rings in them instead of irises and pupils, indicating advanced vision. She has light brown hair that appears to be tied up in the back, creating a flared pony tail. Her face is bloody and bruised, as if she’s been through hell and back. The frame stays on her face, barely able to make out the sterile environment around her. She’s breathing heavily as she stares off into space with no expression, blinking occasionally. A conversation begins between a male voice and the voice of what can be assumed is the woman the frame is on. The voices are slightly distorted and play over the shot as if the conversation is playing in her head.
You know, you never told me…
Told you what?
Why you joined, how you became a part of all thi
